This is our second Brakefree. It’s not because there was something wrong with our original one.. our original one works fantastic, but it’s black and it works great on our black helmets.

Recently, we bought a pair of white helmets so naturally, we ordered a white break free to match the helmets.

I have been caught in terrible storms on my Harley doing long road cruises and I turn on the most aggressive light mode and I’m completely visible. You can put it in a very subtle mode when you’re just riding around town or it’s a nice day even if you’re on the freeway the only time the lights actually come on is when it senses that you’re decelerating.

The most important part about this thing is that people don’t necessarily know that you’re breaking if you’re using your engine to slow down. This increases your safety by 1000%.

I cannot say enough, good things about this product!

The light was easy to mount on helmet. I waited the allotted mounting time before using and it has held perfectly for the 2 months I have used it. Even better I can recharge the unit without taking it off the helmet. Obviously I can't see what it looks like while wearing it but my riding buddies say it is easy to spot me at night and shows up in daylight too. Few bikes have the 5 taillights of a Gold Wing but the BREAK FREE helps make up for the small taillight on my 750 without doing a rewire job for more lights.
